Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION#22-052 <br /> RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S CHANGES TO A <br /> COMPREHENSIVE AMENDMENT ADOPTED BY RESOLUTION#22-009 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution#22-009 which conditionally approved a Comprehensive <br /> Plan Amendment for the Trott Brook North Planning Area;and <br /> WHEREAS, as part of the conditions for approval, the Planning Commission held a Public Hearing at their <br /> January 27,2022 regular meeting;and <br /> WHEREAS,the Planning Commission reviewed the Comprehensive Plan Amendment and made a change to <br /> combine two criteria identified in the amendment;and <br /> WHEREAS, based on conditional approval by the City Council and the review and adjustment by Planning <br /> Commission,the City Council supports the Planning Commission's recommended change;and <br /> WHERERAS, a new district, Urban Residential Low(URL), shall be added to the Comprehensive Plan <br /> as described in Exhibit B; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has already begun, per the adoption of Resolution#22-009, the process to amend <br /> the comprehensive plan for the Subject Properties as described in Exhibit A from Low Density Residential (a <br /> district allowing for developments on sewer/water at a density of no less than 3 units per acre)to Urban Residential <br /> Low(URL). <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br /> ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1. That the Ramsey City Council hereby supports the adjustment by the Planning Commission to the <br /> comprehensive plan amendment for the Trott Brook Northplanning area in accordance with relevant City <br /> Codes, contingent upon the following conditions: <br /> a. Continuation of adjacent jurisdiction review that is underway, complete necessary <br /> documentation, and work with the Metropolitan Council on submission and follow up on said <br /> amendment. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon,the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br />
