Counci hnember <br /> <br />__ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-09-XXX <br /> <br />I-tESOI,UTION APPROVING 3RD PARTIAL PAYMENT TO W.B. MILLER-INC. <br />PRO,IECT #05-22 RTC CITY PHASE II ROADWAYS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS; the Ramsey City Council authorized design of City Phase II Street, Storm <br />Sewer, Watermain and Sanitary Sewer Improvement in Ramsey Town Center on November 9th, <br />2004; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 10, 2005, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #05-05-133 <br />awarding thc contract for IP #05-22 to W.B. Miller Inc. in the amount of $562,096.80.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Assistant Public Works Director/Principal Engineer, Brian OlSon has <br />it~spcctcd the completed work and recommends 1st partial payment to W.B. Miller Inc. in the <br />amOUlqt o1' $171,141.55. <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, Assistant Public Works Director/Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has <br />inspected the completed work and recommends 3rd partial payment to W.B. Miller Inc. in the <br />alno~.tnt of' $82,307.05. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Assistant Public Works Director/Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has <br />il~$pccted the completed work and recommends 3rd partial payment to W.B. Miller Inc. in the <br />alnount of$88,319.60. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to W.B. Miller Inc. for <br />hnprovement Project #05-22 in the amount of $88,319.60. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City CounCil hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City. <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of September 27, 2005. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />....... and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and thc Ibllowing voted against the same: <br /> <br />and thc fbllowing abstained: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-09-XXX <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
