CASE <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING AND LEVY OF ASSESSMENTS FOR PAST-DUE CHARGES ON <br />MUNICIPAL UTILITY BILLS AND CURRENT SERVICES RENDERED <br /> By: Diana Lund, Finance Officer <br /> <br />I}ackRround: <br /> <br />Thc City of Ramsey provides varying services that are billed directly to residents through the <br />municipal utility bill [via Connexus Energy] and through invoices. During 1994, the City passed <br />()rdinancc //94-13 which allows for the certification of payments for current services that are <br />delinquent as of September 1 of each year. <br /> <br />'t'his is thc eighth year that the City of Ramsey will be certifying delinquent payments as <br />assessments to be collected with property taxes payable in 2006.
