(~ouncihnember XXXX introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #05-09- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FROM DAVID AND LYNETTE <br />RANDALL TO EXCEED THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE SQUARE FOOTAGE FOR <br />ACCESSORY STRUCTURES AT 7960 171sT LANE NW. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, David and Lynette Randall, hereinafter referred to as the "Applicant," have <br />properfy applied for a Conditional Use Permit to exceed the maximum allowable square footage <br />fbr accessmy structures on the property generally known as 7960 171st Lane, NW and legally <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 3, Block 1, DELLWOOD HILLS <br /> (~S ubj ect Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br />to Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code on September 1, 2005, and that said public <br />hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby <br />incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the Subject Property is zoned R-l, residential and located outside the Metropolitan <br /> [Jrban Service Area (MUSA). <br /> <br />3. '/'hat the Subject Property is approximately 2.3 acres in size. <br /> <br />4. 'l'hat City Code restricts accessory structure space to a total of 2,064 square feet for parcels <br /> 2.3 acres in size. <br /> <br />5. 'l'hat the Applicant would like to construct a 1,200 square foot building and exceed the square <br /> lbotagc restriction by a total of 416 square feet. <br /> <br />6. That the accessory building will be used to store general lawn care machinery and plowing <br /> equipment. <br /> <br />7. That the City received two letters from neighboring property owners in support of the <br /> applicant's request. <br /> <br />8. Th. at the proposed use will not be unduly dangerous or otherwise detrimental to persons <br /> residing or working in the vicinity of the use or to the public welfare. <br /> <br /> <br />
