Absent: None. <br /> <br />Alena Hunter, 14628 Helium Street NW, Ramsey, thanked the Commission for moving the issue <br />forward and giving the citizens ofRamsey a chance to speak on the issue. <br /> <br />COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer requested that the Commission meet on the third Thursday of August to <br />consider an item that he would like included on the special election ballot. He is proposing to <br />amend Chapter 5 of the City Charter to require the majority of the registered voters to vote in a <br />special election in order for the election to be valid. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer, seconded by Commissioner Childs, to schedule a Charter <br />Commission meeting on August 9, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Vogt, Commissioners Deemer, Childs, Bertzyk, Ebel, <br />Henke, LaMere, Milless, and Swanson. Voting No: None.
