Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption. <br /> RESOLUTION #22-034 <br /> RESOLUTION AKNOWLEDGING THE IMPLEMENTION OF THE PLAYGROUND <br /> REPLACEMENT POLICY, AND DECLARING THE OBSOLETE PARK PLAY <br /> EQUIPMENT AT AUTUMN HEIGHTS AND SHAWN ACRES PARKS, SURPLUS <br /> PROPERTY FOR REMOVAL <br /> WHEREAS, the play equipment at Autumn Heights and Shawn Acres Park's is several <br /> decades old, is no longer used by children and the Playground Replacement Policy calls for <br /> their removals, without replacement; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Commission acknowledged the two playground <br /> removals at the regular January meeting, and also directed Staff to mail an invitation to 89 <br /> neighbors of Rabbit Park to ascertain their desires for the removal, and potential replacement <br /> of the play equipment there; and <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY,ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> 1) That, the existing play equipment within Autumn Heights and Shawn Acres Parks be <br /> declared surplus property and that staff is hereby directed to dispose of it in the most <br /> fiscally responsible manner possible. <br /> That the motion for the adoption of the forgoing resolution was duty seconded by <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> None <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> None <br />
