COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />1) LMC Session <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec mentioned that the League of Minnesota Cities puts on a session for newly ¢l¢cted <br />officials and some of the things discussed are procedures, conflicts of interest, open meeting law, <br />serial meetings, etc. He thought this session may be helpful for the Charter also and asked that <br />staff inquire about whether or not the City could pay for the Charter Commission to attend. <br /> <br />2) Citizen Appreciation <br /> <br />Mr. Krueger expressed his appreciation to the Charter for the good job they did with regard to <br />the ballot, etc. <br /> <br />3) Request for 3-hole Punched Agendas <br /> <br />CommissiOner Swanson asked if the agendas could come 3-hole punched; staffwill oblige. <br /> <br />4) Index for Charter <br /> <br />The Commission asked for an index to the Charter; staff will provide. <br /> <br />5) Comment on the Bridge Crossing Ballot Question <br /> <br />Commissioner Childs noted that the vote on the bridge-crossing question was five to one. He <br />felt that was a very powerful statement - welcome to our community. He felt it said a lot about <br />Ramsey and defines Ramsey's hospitality. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Childs and seconded by Commissioner Milless to adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Vogt, Commissioners Childs, Milless, Bertzyk, <br />Deemer, Henke, Ebel and Swanson. Voting No: None.
