• City Administrator. The City Administrator is the chief administrative officer of the City and is responsible for all aspects of the City's organizational health and effectiveness. This position is responsible for the daily administration and coordination of all City affairs in accordance with the City Charter, City Code, ordinances, resolutions and directives from City Council. Seeking two individuals to provide assistance to our Engineering staff for summer construction projects. These are temporary internships working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Salary is $15.00 to $18.00/hour depending on qualifications. These openings close at 11:59 pm on Sunday, March 27, 2022. • 7-Month Parks Maintenance Worker. Seeking one individual to assist our Parks staff with general maintenance of City -owned parks and trail systems. This is a 7-month long, temporary full-time position. Responsibilities include all aspects of parks maintenance, construction of new facilities and the operation of equipment while working in a variety of weather conditions. This individual also assists staff with several City events. All candidates must be at least 18 years old or older and possess a valid MN commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with both air brake & tanker endorsements. This is a temporary full-time AFSCME union position, subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing. This will not lead to regular employment at the conclusion of the season. Seeking a number of individuals to work alongside of our Public Works staff with the general maintenance of streets, park grounds, trails, buildings and related facilities and equipment. These are temporary, non -union positions working forty (40) hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. All applicants must be at least 17 by June 1, 2022. The wage is $13.00 to $15.00 per hour, depending on qualifications. Application period is open until all positions have been filled, however first interviews will start the week of March 21, 2022.
