From: Amanda Patrow
To: Chris Anderson
Subject: Proposed PACT charter school
Date: Tuesday, March 1, 2022 2:15:57 PM
Good afternoon, my name is Amanda Patrow. I live on 163rd Ave and Varolite in the sweet bay neighborhood. I
have a lot of the same concerns as some of the other residents that live in this area about, building a school and
stadium. The biggest things that will affect me is the traffic and the noise. The stadium is going to be loud for a lot
of the residents in the area, I'm guessing the will have some sort of intercom systems for announcing and the lights
shining through the neighborhood. We can already hear some noise from Central Park when the fans are cheering
but other than that we don't hear any announcing. We are worried with the new stadium is is going to cause lots of
noise to our quiet neighborhood.
Second, I pick up my son from school everyday. He has cerebral palsy, he is in a wheelchair, non verbal and tube
fed. He attends Ramsey Elementary for there center base program. I leave my house about 3:30everyday to pick him
up at 3:45. I exit 163rd Ave onto Varolite. I am really concerned about what traffic I will be running into at that
time. Sure, 1 could drive through the neighborhood and exit on 161 st but will be the same problem trying to enter
Varolite, same thing with 159th. Every exit and enter road into our neighborhood connections to Varolite. We have
no other choice! 1 don't want my son sitting at school wondering and waiting for me because 1 got stuck in traffic on
Varolite and then again on alpine! 1 really hope that you will take me and my neighborhood into consideration when
you make your choice about this school. We strongly feel that there is a better location for a school and it is not in a
residential neighborhood.
Thanks,
Amanda Patrow
