I have been a resident of the Sweetbay development for about nine years and the city of Ramsey for nearly 25 years and have enjoyed the country feel in a suburban area. It has been a safe place our our children to grow up and play with no major concerns. feel that the addition of the PACT Charter school and stadium would change all of that. The increased traffic and concerns for the environment top my list. Adding an additional access road to Variolite and to 161 st could create an environment deemed unsafe for our children, especially being so close to a public park that is regularly used throughout the year. The increased traffic when in turn impose additional wear on the Variolite roadway that we fought to fix in the first place. Not only will the wildlife be affected but I have concern that the waste water run off will increase creating a flood concern for my home.
