Councilmember Woestehoff introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #22-052 <br /> RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S CHANGES TO A <br /> COMPREHENSIVE AMENDMENT ADOPTED BY RESOLUTION #22-009 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution 422-009 which conditionally approved a <br /> Comprehensive Plan Amendment for the Trott Brook North Planning Area;and <br /> WHEREAS, as part of the conditions for approval, the Planning Commission held a Public <br /> Hearing at their January 27,2022 regular meeting; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed the Comprehensive Plan Amendment and <br /> made a change to combine two criteria identified in the amendment;and <br /> WHEREAS,based on conditional approval by the City Council and the review and adjustment <br /> by Planning Commission,the City Council supports the Planning Commission's recommended change; <br /> and <br /> WHERERAS, a new district, Urban Residential Low (URL), shall be added to the <br /> Comprehensive Planas described in Exhibit B; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has already begun, per the adoption of Resolution 422-009, the <br /> process to amend the comprehensive plan for the Subject Properties as described in Exhibit A <br /> from Low Density Residential (a district allowing for developments on sewer/water at a density <br /> of no less than 3 units per acre) to Urban Residential Low (URL). <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF RAMSEY,ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1. That the Ramsey City Council hereby supports the adjustment by the Planning Commission <br /> to the comprehensive plan amendment for the Trott Brook Northplanning area in accordance <br /> with relevant City Codes, contingent upon the following conditions: <br /> a. Continuation of adjacent jurisdiction review that is underway, complete necessary <br /> documentation, and work with the Metropolitan Council on submission and follow up on <br /> said amendment. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> Riley, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Specht <br />
