Parks and Recreation Events and Updates <br />• Ramsey Walking Group - Join the Ramsey Walking Group to spend time in the great <br />outdoors, meet other people and improve your fitness and well-being. We will walk the <br />loop around The Draw on Wednesdays from April 6 - May 11 at 10:00 am. This loop is <br />slightly under a mile and shorter iterations of this loop can also be done. This group is <br />suitable for all abilities and fitness levels. <br />• Kite Day in the Park - Let's fill the spring sky with colorful kites! Join us at Elmcrest <br />Park on Saturday, April 30, from 10:00 am — 12:00 noon, for Kite Day in the Park to <br />celebrate National Kite Month. You are welcome to bring your own kite or you can register <br />for a kite kit online and build it yourself at the park. <br />Attached to the Weekly Update are the Parks and Recreation Event Flyers. <br />Save the Date: <br />• Boards & Commissions Appreciation Event. The City will be hosting an appreciation <br />event for its Boards & Commissions on Tuesday, April 5, at the Links at Northfork, 9333 <br />Alpine Drive NW. Guests may arrive at 5:00 pm, dinner will be served at 5:30 pm and a <br />brief presentation will be given at 6:00 pm. <br />• Earth Day Community Clean-up 2022. Join Ramsey Parks and Recreation in celebrating <br />the 52nd Earth Day by cleaning up our community. This event will run from Friday, April <br />22 — Sunday, April 24. You select the date, time and location to clean-up, and we will <br />provide the supplies! Registration for this event can be found on the parks and recreation <br />event page: www.cityoframsey.com/574. Attached to the Weekly Update is the Earth Day <br />Community Clean-up 2022 Flyer. <br />• Ramsey Business Expo 2022: The City of Ramsey Economic Development Authority is <br />once again holding its annual Business Expo this Spring! The Expo will take place on <br />Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 10:00 am — 2:00 pm at Adrenaline Sports Center (8310 <br />147th Lane NW) in Ramsey. Exhibitor booths are only $50 for Ramsey businesses. Hurry <br />before booths fill up! For details and registration, visit the website at <br />IhALps://www.ciLyaramsey.com/372/EDA-Business-Expo.
