CC Regular Session 5. 19. <br /> Meeting Date: 12/14/2021 <br /> By: Katie Schmidt,Administrative Services <br /> Information <br /> Title <br /> Adopt Resolution#21-336 Establishing Precinct and Polling Locations for the 2022 Election Year <br /> Purpose/Background: <br /> Purpose: To establish polling locations for 2022. <br /> Background: The language in State Statutes requires both cities and school districts to pass a resolution prior to <br /> December 31 st of each year setting polling places for the following year. This must be done even if there are no <br /> changes in locations or scheduled elections. Attached is the resolution for adoption establishing the polling <br /> locations. Council should note there are no changes to the City's polling places. <br /> Notification: <br /> None required. <br /> Observations/Alternatives: <br /> Observations/Alternatives: Council is required to adopt a resolution establishing polling locations for the coming <br /> year. This is done annually, even if there is no election slated for the coming year. Alternatives could include <br /> changing the polling place locations.
