CC Regular Session 5.30. <br /> Meeting Date: 12/14/2021 <br /> Submitted For: Sean Sullivan, Community Development <br /> By: Sean Sullivan, Community Development <br /> Information <br /> Title <br /> Adopt Resolution#21-353 Authorizing Execution of Certain Deeds and Documents on Behalf of the City of <br /> Ramsey Housing and Redevelopment Authority by Current City of Ramsey Officials. <br /> Purpose/Background: <br /> The purpose of this case is to transfer City of Ramsey HRA owned properties to the City of Ramsey <br /> On November 12, 2014 the Ramsey Housing and Redevelopment Authority(Ramsey HRA)adopted Resolution <br /> #14-11-236 Approving the transfer of HRA Property to the City. The resolution identified 28 parcels to be <br /> transferred to the City of Ramsey along with all other assets the HRA had. The City Council subsequently adopted <br /> Resolution#14-12-262 Dissolving the Ramsey Housing and Redevelopment Authority on December 9, 2014 with <br /> an effective date of December 31,2014 and affirming that the property and assets of the HRA are to be transferred <br /> to the City. <br /> City Staff has identified two properties identified in the HRA Resolution that have not yet been transferred to the <br /> City of Ramsey These parcels include: <br /> 1) 35-32-25-13-0005 (Lot 4,Block 1,Riverside West) <br /> 2) 28-32-25-21-0033 (formerly Outlot D,RTC 8th Addition,remnant now platted as Outlot A, COR THREE with a <br /> new Tax ID number of 28-32-25-21-0094) <br /> Staff has worked with the City Attorney to draft a Resolution to authorize legally transferring these properties into <br /> the name of the City of Ramsey. <br /> Notification: <br /> N/A <br /> Observations/Alternatives: <br /> Alternatives include: <br /> 1)Adopt Resolution#21-353 Authorizing Execution of Certain Deeds and Documents on Behalf of the City of <br /> Ramsey Housing and Redevelopment Authority by Current City of Ramsey Officials (as presented) <br /> 2)Adopt Resolution#21-353 Authorizing Execution of Certain Deeds and Documents on Behalf of the City of <br /> Ramsey Housing and Redevelopment Authority by Current City of Ramsey Officials (with changes) <br /> 3) Something else <br /> Funding Source: <br /> The cost of the filing the deeds of transfer will be from 9230-6315 (EDA Professional Services) <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Staff recommends adoption of Resolution#21-353 Authorizing Execution of Certain Deeds and Documents on <br /> Behalf of the City of Ramsey Housing and Redevelopment Authority by Current City of Ramsey Officials <br />
