CC Regular Session 5. 3. <br /> Meeting Date: 03/22/2022 <br /> By: Colleen Lasher,Administrative <br /> Services <br /> Information <br /> Title <br /> Authorization to Hire a Planning Manager <br /> Purpose/Background: <br /> The purpose of this case is for the City Council to consider hiring a Planning Manager, to backfill the current <br /> vacancy. <br /> Background: This position has been vacant since February 4, 2022. In order to fill the current vacancy, an internal, <br /> followed by an external recruitment process was conducted. Mr. Todd Larson was selected as the top candidate <br /> following that process. Mr. Larson has passed the City's pre-employment testing which included reference checks, <br /> employment verifications, drivers license check, extensive leadership assessment and drug screen.
