Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #22-072 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #22-05, RIVERDALE DRIVE TRUNK UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS, LLAMA STREET TO BOWERS DRIVE WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to extend Riverdale Drive between Llama Street and Bowers Drive to extend the south frontage road system to U.S. Highway 10/169 to Bowers Drive; and WHEREAS, trunk utilities are also proposed to be extended along Riverdale Drive between Llama Street and Bowers Drive to serve this area of the City with municipal utilities since it is zoned as MUSA; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #21-305 adopted October 26, 2021, the City Council accepted a design services proposal of Bolton & Menk, Inc. to develop final plans and specifications and solicit bids for Improvement Project#22-05; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #22-040 adopted February 8, 2022, the City Council approved the plans and specifications prepared by Bolton & Menk, Inc. and authorized the advertisement of bids for City Improvement Project#22-05; and WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Anoka Union Herald and in Finance and Commerce on February 11 and 18, 2022; and WHEREAS, eleven (11) bids were received, opened, and tabulated on March 11, 2022, and the following bids were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications and advertisements for bids, and CONTRACTOR TOTAL BID Douglas-Kerr Underground, L.L.C. $211631890.22 LaTour Construction, Inc. $213631230.01 Northern Lines Contracting $214941872.65 Park Construction Company $21607,653.11 Kuechle Underground, Inc. $2,630,120.76 S R Weidema, Inc. $21642,679.26 Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc. $218281024.11 Northdale Construction Company, Inc. $219371700.83 Meyer Contracting, Inc. $219381256.20 Geislin er& Sons $219771426.50 Ryan Contracting Co. $313661904.00 Engineer's Estimate $216841867.50
