Councilmember Howell introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #22-060 <br /> RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PRECINCT AND POLLING LOCATIONS FOR 2022 <br /> ELECTION YEAR <br /> WHEREAS,the Legislature of the State of Minnesota has been redistricted and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Ramsey has reestablished the City's Ward <br /> line boundaries by Ordinance and <br /> WHEREAS, the voting precincts in the City must be reestablished after the Legislature <br /> has been redistricted. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) That the City of Ramsey is divided into four wards and nine precincts effective with the <br /> August 9, 2022 State Primary Election. <br /> 2) That the boundaries of the precincts are hereby established pursuant to Minnesota Statute <br /> 204.B14, subdivision 3c. <br /> 3) That the polling places of the precincts are hereby established pursuant to Minnesota <br /> Statute 204.B16. <br /> 4) That such boundaries and polling places shall be as follows: <br /> Ward 1 Precinct 1: <br /> Boundary: Beginning at the intersection of Nowthen Boulevard NW(CSAH 45)and Green Valley <br /> Road NW (County Road 463). Thence following Nowthen Boulevard NW (CSAH 45) in a <br /> southern direction to the intersection of 1671h Avenue NW. Thence following 1671h Avenue NW <br /> east to the intersection of Yttrium Street NW. Thence following Yttrium Street NW south to the <br /> transition to 162nd Avenue NW and continuing to the intersection with Azurite Street NW. Thence <br /> following Azurite Street NW to the intersection of Nowthen Boulevard NW (CSAH 45). Thence <br /> following Nowthen Boulevard NW(CSAH 45)northwest to the intersection of Ramsey Boulevard <br /> NW(CSAH#56). Thence following Ramsey Boulevard NW(CSAH 456)south to the intersection <br /> of Alpine Drive NW. Thence following Alpine Drive NW easterly to the intersection of St. Francis <br /> Boulevard (State Highway 447) and Alpine Drive NW. Thence following St. Francis Boulevard <br /> (State Highway 447)north to the intersection with Green Valley Road(County Road 463).
