Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos replied that it is a single family home site of about 10 - 15 acres.

Motion by Commissioner Johns, seconded by Commissioner Droegemueller, to recommend that 37.5 feet
be received as park dedication along the south side of the south side of the property for an extension of
the trail corridor, with the remainder of the park dedication being satisfied in cash plus the $325 trail fee.

Further discussion: Mr. Nordvik stated that he did not feel that he should have to pay cash dedication in
addition to the land. Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos replied that they could increase the amount of land
to 39 feet so that it would equate to 100 percent of the park dedication so that no cash would be required.
Mr. Nordvik stated that his first choice would be to pay 100 percent cash, but understand that there is a
trail priority.

Motion was amended to include that the Park Commission recommends that a variance be granted
without regard to the 37.5 feet of park dedication.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Cook, Commissioners Johns, Droegemueller, Ostrum, and
Rolfe. Voting No: None.

COMMISSION/STAFF INPUT

The Commission reviewed items that will be placed on their upcoming agendas.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Commissioner Ostrum, seconded by Commissioner Johns, to adjourn the meeting.

Motion carried.
