MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />Continued Discussion of Case #14B <br /> <br />City Adrninistrator Norman requested the Council revisit the discussion of Case No. 14B. He <br />suggested the Council approve the purchase agreement with contingencies in relation to the <br />Council's questions. He explained the City will purchase the property regardless of the method <br />that is used. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to enter into a purchase <br />agreement with Ramsey Town Center, LLC for the purchase of the parcel of land located at 6701 <br />Highway 10 NW, Ramsey, Minnesota, for a total purchase price of $1,800,000.00 which amount <br />is to be funded by the Metropolitan Council approving the purchase and the purchase price and <br />City Attorney approval of the final purchase agreement terms, contingent on final approval of the <br />City Council as to the terms of the purchase agreement. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Mayor Gamec stated he does not want any of these issues with large <br />amounts of dollars coming to the Council meetings at the last minute anymore. A special <br />meeting can be called in the future if needed. <br /> <br />Motion carriedl Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Cook, Jeffrey, Olson, <br />Pearson, and Strommen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />'Mayor Announcements <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec announced the following: <br /> He was contacted by Representative Jirn Abeler requesting a copy of the letter sent to <br /> MnDOT by City Staff regarding the Pleasant Street improvement project.
