• Zoning Code Enforcement Officer. Performs code enforcement inspections and follow- <br />up on zoning and public nuisance related activities. Primary service goals include providing <br />cost-effective means of enforcing City Code as it relates to violations of the City's nuisance <br />and zoning ordinances. Salary range: $30.15 to $33.17/hourly depending on qualifications. <br />This position closes at 11: 59 pm on Sunday, April 24, 2022. <br />The City of Ramsey is also hiring for the following Temporary Summer Staff and Internships: <br />• Parks Maintenance Worker (Temporary up to 7-Months). Seeking one individual to <br />assist our Parks staff with general maintenance of City -owned parks and trail systems. This <br />is a temporary full-time AFSCME union position last up to 7-months. Responsibilities <br />include all aspects of parks maintenance, construction of new facilities and the operation <br />of equipment while working in a variety of weather conditions. This individual also assists <br />staff with several City events. All candidates must be at least 18-years-old or older and <br />possess a valid MN commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with both air brake & tanker <br />endorsements. This is a temporary full-time AFSCME union position, subject to DOT <br />random drug and alcohol testing. This will not lead to regular employment at the conclusion <br />of the season. The 2022 wage is $19.51/hour. These are temporary, non -union positions <br />working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. All <br />applicants must be at least 17 by June 1, 2022. The wage is $13.00 to $15.00 per hour, <br />depending on qualifications. The City will be hosting an appreciation event for <br />its Boards & Commissions on Tuesday, April 5, at the Links at Northfork, 9333 Alpine Drive NW. <br />Guests may arrive at 5:00 pm, dinner will be served at 5:30 pm and a brief presentation will be <br />given at 6:00 pm. <br />Parks and Recreation Events and Updates: <br />• Spring Birding Bingo. With the arrival of spring comes the arrival of more birds! During <br />the month of April play Birding Bingo. Keep an eye out for the birds found on the Bingo <br />card and check off the bird when you spot it. See if you can spot them all! <br />o Submit your Bingo card once you have gotten a Bingo (four in a row, vertically, <br />horizontally, or diagonally). The submission form can be found at: <br />www.cityoframsey.com/P rkEvents. <br />• Ramsey Walking Group - Join the Ramsey Walking Group to spend time in the great <br />outdoors, meet other people and improve your fitness and well-being. We will walk the <br />loop around The Draw on Wednesdays from April 6 - May 11 at 10:00 am. This loop is <br />slightly under a mile and shorter iterations of this loop can also be done. This group is <br />suitable for all abilities and fitness levels. <br />
