Staff has been in contact with Corrective Asphalt Materials (CAM) who is the sole source provider in Minnesota for <br />Reclamite. A proposal for the work is attached to this case. Based upon the bid results of the 2022 Crack Seal <br />Improvements, bid opening scheduled for May 2, 2022, Staff may have to adjust the street segments included in the <br />project to match available funding. <br />Timeframe: <br />Staff estimates 15 minutes will be needed to present this case and respond to questions. <br />Observations/Alternatives: <br />Observations: <br />Staff will present a comparison of Brookfield 6th Addition, treated versus untreated segments. <br />Alternatives: <br />Alternative #1— Motion to recommend City Council approval of plans and specifications and award of contract for <br />Improvement Project #22-09, 2022 Pavement Rejuvenation Improvements. <br />Alternative #2 — Motion of other. <br />Funding Source: <br />Per the attached proposal from CAM the proposed construction costs of this project is $143,884.15. With 14% <br />indirect costs, the proposed project costs are $164,027.93. Funds are proposed to come from funds remaining out of <br />the $200,000 budgeted for Crack Seals ($58,364.12) plus recently received COVID Relief funds totaling <br />$102,316.00, which can only be used on pavement maintenance projects. This leaves an estimated funding <br />short -fall of $3,347.81.
