No. 2198 <br />03/15/2021 Authored by Heinrich and Stephenson <br />The bill was read for the first time and referred to the Committee on Transportation Finance and Policy <br />1.1 A bill for an act <br />1.2 relating to transportation; requiring the commissioner of transportation to install <br />1.3 a traffic -control signal at the intersection of marked Trunk Highway 47 and <br />1.4 McKinley Street in Anoka. <br />1.5 BE 1T ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br />1.6 Section 1. TRAFFIC -CONTROL SIGNAL REOUIRED. <br />1.7 If left turn lanes are constructed on marked Trunk Highway 47 at the intersection with <br />1.8 McKinley Street in Anoka, the commissioner of transportation must install a traffic -control <br />1.9 signal at the intersection. <br />1.10 EFFECTIVE DATE.
