Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #22-080 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING COST SHARING AGREEMENT WITH ANOKA <br /> COUNTY FOR 2022 LIDAR FLIGHT DATA <br /> WHEREAS, Anoka County has partnered with the State of Minnesota to collect high- <br /> resolution digital elevation data developed from airborne LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) <br /> in the central Mississippi Minnesota region in the spring of 2022 (the "LIDAR Project"), under <br /> the State's funding received from United States Geological Survey (USGS); and <br /> WHEREAS, Anoka County contributed $58,000 toward the LIDAR Project, along with <br /> other Minnesota counties, as matching funding for the State to remit to USGS for the LIDAR <br /> project; and <br /> WHEREAS, under the LIDAR Project, Counties are encouraged to share the resulting <br /> data with other public bodies or organizations, including but not limited to cities and townships, <br /> watershed and conservation districts, and other organizations that may directly benefit from the <br /> use of such data; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey agrees to contribute $2,500 toward a portion of the <br /> County's costs associated with the LIDAR Project. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Engineer to execute the Cost <br /> Sharing Agreement with Anoka County for 2022 LIDAR Flight Data, for and on behalf <br /> of the City of Ramsey. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> Howell,and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> None <br />
