Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION#22-078 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSALS FOR FIRE STATION NOA WATER <br /> SERVICE STUB <br /> WHEREAS, the City proposes to extend a water service stub into Fire Station <br /> No.1; and <br /> WHEREAS, requests for proposals were submitted to four contractors for the purpose of <br /> obtaining quotes for completing the proposed water service stub extension; and <br /> WHEREAS, two (2) bids were received, opened, and tabulated on March 14, 2022, <br /> and the following bids were found to comply with the request for proposals; and <br /> Contractor Total Quote <br /> Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc. $15,800.01 <br /> One Call Contracting, Inc. $31,861.00 <br /> WHEREAS, the quote of Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $15,800.01 <br /> for said services in accordance with the prepared proposals is the lowest responsible quote and <br /> their quote shall be and hereby is accepted. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br /> contract with Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc. for said services for and on behalf of the <br /> City of Ramsey. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> Howell, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br />
