Parks and Recreation Events and Updates: • Earth Day Community Clean-up 2022 o There is still time to sign up for our Earth Day event! This event will run from Friday, April 22 — Sunday, April 24. You select the date, time and location to clean- up, and we will provide the supplies. Registration for this event can be found on the parks and recreation event page: www.cd.yoframsey.com/ParkEverus. • Kite Day in the Park o Join us at Elmcrest Park on Saturday, April 30, from 10:00 am — 12:00 noon, for Kite Day in the Park to celebrate National Kite Month. There is still time to register for a kite kit! Registration for this event can be found on the parks and recreation event page: www.c y.o. ramsey.com/ParkEvents. • Acrylic Painting at Kitchen Table o Join your friends at Kitchen Table on Wednesday, April 27, from 5:30 — 7:30 pm, to make a beautiful acrylic painting! You will be given step by step directions by an artist from Rumriver Art Center on creating your own beautiful piece of art. Everyone will start at the same point and at the end each canvas will be very different. This class is open to anyone 21 years and up that are beginners and those who have painting experience. (Note: this class is fully funded by its participants, with the fees benefiting two local business.) Registration for this event can be found on the parks and recreation event page: www.cd.yoframsey.com/ParkEverus. • Geocaching with Dogs o Learn how you can go treasure hunting with your dog! Geocaching is a great opportunity to get out into nature, exercise your dog, and do some exploring! In this beginner class, we will learn how to use GPS technology to help us find caches. Geocaching is great for people and dogs of all ages and abilities. This program will be at Alpine Park on Thursday, May 12 from 5:30 — 7:00 pm. Registration for this event can be found on the parks and recreation event page: www.cityoframsey.com/PrkEvents. • Spring Birding Bingo o There is still time to play and submit a completed a bingo card for our Spring Birding Bingo program! Submit your Bingo card once you have gotten a Bingo (four in a row, vertically, horizontally, or diagonally). The submission form can be found at: www.ciLyoframsey.._com/ParkEvents.
