i k { Cou .cilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION - 1- 23 RESOLUTION APPROVING TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL MAINTENANCE AGRE EMENT No, 07023 WITH THE STATE of MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT of TRANSPOR.ATA' ION AND ANOKA COUNTY WHEREAS, Anoka County is proposing improvements to the intersection of Trunk Highway No' . 10 and Anoka County State Aid Highway No. 83 Armstrong Boulevard)to improve traffic operations and increase safety; and 1. W11ER AS, Trunk Highway No. 10 is under the jurisdiction of the State of Minnesota, Department of ran oilation; and WHEREAS, County State Aid Highway No. 83 Armstrong Boulevard is a County State Aid Highway tinder the j urisdiction of Anoka Count),; and WHERE,AS,the proposed intersection improvements require inipro ements to both Trunk Hi ghway No. 10 and Atoka County State Aid Highway No. 8 3 Armstrong B oule and ; and WHERE, S, the City of Ramsey, Anoka County and the Mate of Minnesota, Department of Transportation desire to work cooperatively to eonstrUCt the proposed improvements. NOW THERE,FORE, BE IT RE SOLVED Y THE CITY COUNCIL of THI El CITY of RAMS , ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINN SoTA.: 1 That the City of Ramsey agree to enter into MnDO 'Agreement No. 07023 with the State of Mhuiesota,Department ofTransportation and Anoka County for the following put-poses: a. To provide for the power, operation and maintenance of the new Traffic Control Signal including an Emergency Vehicle Pre-emption system on Trunk 1Iighway No. 10 at County Mate Aid Highway No, 8 3 A•nistrongBoulevard)I oilh Ramps its the City of Ramsey, Anoka C un y, Minnesota; and b. To provide for the power,operation and maintenance for the revised Traffic Control Signal on Anoka County Mate Aid Highway No. Arinstrong Boulevard) at Sunwoo Drive/147th Avenue NW in the City of Ramsey, Anoka County, Minnesota.
