Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #22-106 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AWARD OF <br /> CONTRACT FOR 2022 PAVEMENT REJUVENATION IMPROVEMENTS, <br /> IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #22-09 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey adopted a budget for 2022 including $200,000 to apply <br /> pavement rejuvenator and crack seal improvements to the bituminous pavement on numerous <br /> public street segments in support of the City's Pavement Management Program; and <br /> WHEREAS, the low bid received for the 2022 Crack Seal Improvements is <br /> $108,779.90; and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff was directed to make recommendations to utilize the entire <br /> $200,000 budgeted for 2022 pavement maintenance improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City received $102,316.00 in Federal COVID Relief funds to be <br /> spent on pavement maintenance improvements on non-Municipal State Aid streets; and <br /> WHEREAS, Engineering Staff received a proposal from Corrective Asphalt <br /> Materials in the amount of$155,810.35 to apply Reclamite to 164,011 square yards of <br /> bituminous pavement on numerous street segments within the City, and their proposal <br /> shall be and hereby is accepted. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br /> with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of the City of <br /> Ramsey. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> and the following abstained: <br />
