Cocmcilmember __ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #0S-10-X_XX RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGE ORDERS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF 1MPROVEIVIENT PROJECT 02-34, RAMSEY MUNICIPAL PARKING FACILITY WHEREAS, the Facilities Committee has authority to approve change orders in excess of' $10,000 and less than $25,000 with City Council ratification; and WH E R EAS, the City Administrator and Assistant Public Works Director have the attthority to approve change orders of up to $10,000 with City Council ratification; and WHEREAS, the approved Contract allows for a 2% construction contingency of $145,000;- and WH E.Pd,;AS, the following change orders have been requested and approved by the City Administrator and Assistant Public Works Director and need City Council ratification; 2. 3. 4. Revise wall forming stair A base - $3,451 Add membrane flashing to typical foundation wall - $6,028 Work around utilities on Civic Center Drive - $1,343 Expand mechanical room - $1,387 WItEREAS, the change order for the addition of brick to Stair A Base ($11,679) has been approved by Facilities Committee and also needs City Council ratification; and THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF [LAMS EY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: The above mentioned change orders have been approved, The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember ., and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and tine ~bllowing voted against the same: and th~: i'ollowing abstained: and thc following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council [his the l 11~ day of October 2005.
