Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Olson, to adopt resolution #05- <br />09-316 regarding Park and Ride - R. amsey Town Center. - <br /> <br />I,'urther discussion: Councilmember Jeffrey inquired if there are a certain number of parking <br />sp{)ts that need to be designated. Assistant Public Works Director Olson replied initially when <br />tl~e City received the first $420,000 grant and discussed the Park and Ride lot they indicated <br />tl~ere would be 140 to 200 stalls designated. When this was concreted to land acquisition there <br />was no mention of parking stalls. The $2.2 million grant from the Metropolitan Council did not <br />specify a certain number of stalls, other than that there will be some parking provided. Staffhas <br />determined that this ramp would include 200 additional stalls that would be dedicated for park <br />aad ride during the daytime hours. City Administrator Norman adv. ised the CMAQ grant would <br />provide the necessary funds for the additional stalls. <br /> <br />Motion chrried. Voting Yes: Mayor Pro Tern Elvig, Councilmembers Cook, Olson, Jeffrey, <br />Pearst)n, and Strommen. Voting No: None.
