CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, September 27, 2005, at the <br />Ramsey Fire Station Number 1, 15050 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br /> <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councflmember <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />David Elvig <br />Mary Jo Olson <br />A1 Pearson <br />Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember David JeffreY <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Public Works Director Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Ass't Community Development Dir/HRA Executive Dir. Sylvia Frolik <br />Community Development Director Patrick Tmdgeon <br />Economic Development/TIF Specialist Sean Sullivan <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:02 p.m., followed by <br />the Pledge of All~giance. <br /> <br />SWEARING IN OF PATROL OFFICER JERAD DIXON <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich conducted the swearing in of Patrol Officer Jerad Dixon. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec congratulated Officer Dixon and commented on the importance of the Patrol <br />Officer position in the City. He stated the Police and Fire Departments are an outstanding group <br />of people with a fine working relationship between the two departments. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated Happy Days was very successful, and was likely the largest Happy Days <br />Festival the City has had.
