The .remaining 18 acres of proposed commercial area will need .to be rezoned to <br /> commercial. He noted that the concept plan pro,,;ides a major north/south street connection <br /> through the development to AIpine Drivel The proposed road aiignment with Co~.mty Road #I 16 <br /> to the east is desirable and Staff suggpsts the' developer continue to look at how to provide a <br /> strong4r east/west connection throughout the dev. elopment. The subdivision it inqorporating: the <br />' City's desire to reserve a 300~foot wide' corridbr to facilitate the future Mississippi River bridge <br /> crossing. He explained they will continue to work on the' commercial <br />area to assure it is viable.
