Seasonal Maintenance Workers: Seeking a number of individuals to work alongside of our Public Works staff with the general maintenance of streets, park grounds, trails, buildings, and related facilities and equipment. These are temporary, non-union positions working forty (40) hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. All applicants must be at least 17 by June 1, 2022. The wage is $13.00 to $15.00 per hour, depending on qualifications. Interviews will be conducted weekly. Application period is open until all 11 positions have been filled. Community Partners Needed for Adopt-a-Flag Program. The City of Ramsey is gathering sponsorships as part of its Adopt-a-Flag program. The Adopt-a-Flag Program calls for community partners —both in the business and residential community —to sponsor a flag that will be affixed to a light pole along Sunwood Drive. A Friends-of-the-Flag Level Sponsorship is $50 and a Patriot Level Sponsorship is $500. This covers the cost of supplies as well as an engraved plaque which will be on display at Ramsey City Hall. Patriot Sponsors will also have an engraved nameplate affixed to the light pole. Adopting a flag can also serve as a symbol to honor the memory of a loved one. Keep an eye out for the birds found on the Bingo card and check off the bird when you spot it. See if you can spot them all!
