CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> invites applications for the position of: <br /> Ci_.L�j A., <br /> 4 Y Of <br /> Veoo <br /> R"- SEY Seasonal Maintenance Workers <br /> SALARY: Depends on Qualifications <br /> OPENING DATE: 02/28/22 <br /> CLOSING DATE: 06/30/22 11:59 PM <br /> PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: <br /> To provide general maintenance of streets, park grounds, trails, buildings, and related facilities <br /> and equipment through the spring, summer, and possibly fall months. This also includes mowing <br /> and trimming; pruning and planting trees or working on landscape projects; maintaining athletic <br /> fields; picking up trash; street maintenance; and utilities maintenance. <br /> These are temporary non-union positions working forty (40) hours per week, Monday- Friday <br /> from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., beginning in April or May and running through the Fall months. <br /> There is no guaranty of further employment after the season has concluded. <br /> MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: <br /> Successful applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications: <br /> • Must be 17 years of age or older <br /> • Must possess a high school diploma, GED or a current student <br /> • Must have valid Minnesota driver's license in good standing <br /> • Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision <br /> • Must have the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including cold or hot <br /> temperatures, high humidity, wind, or rain <br /> • Must have the ability to finish work in a timely and efficient manner <br /> • Must have the ability to get along with others including supervisors and coworkers <br /> Desired Qualifications include: <br /> • Previous experience working for a municipality or county <br /> • Previous paid professional experience landscaping experience <br /> ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: <br /> Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following: <br /> • Mowing and trimming of City owned parks and trails <br />
