Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION#22-115 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT FOR SUNWOOD DRIVE AND <br /> WACO STREET RECONSTRUCTION,IMPROVEMENT PROJECT#22-01 <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct Sunwood Drive between Trunk Highway 47 and <br /> Waco Street, and Waco Street between Sunwood Drive and 150'Avenue; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #21-194, adopted July 13, 2021, the City <br /> Council ordered the City Engineer to request proposals for Topographic Survey, Geotechnical Evaluations and <br /> Utility Testing for proposed 2022 Pavement Management Program projects, including IP 22-01; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #21-224, adopted August 1 Oth, 2021, the City <br /> Council awarded a proposal to Hakanson Anderson for Topographic Survey, and Haugo Geotechnical Services for <br /> a geotechnical report of the project area; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #21-240, adopted August 24, 2021, the City <br /> Council awarded a proposal to Hydro-Klean, LLC for cleaning and televising the sanitary and storm sewer, and <br /> Water Conservation Services, Inc. for watermain leak testing of the project area; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #21-299, adopted October 26, 2021, the City <br /> Council ordered the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for improvement project#22-01, Sunwood <br /> Drive and Waco Street Reconstruction; and <br /> WHEREAS,per direction given by committee at the October 19,2021 Public Works Committee meeting, <br /> Staff has reviewed the option of reducing the width of Waco Street within the project area from 46 feet to 34 feet <br /> as measured from the back of curb; and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff review estimates an additional project cost of$86,000 to reduce the width of Waco <br /> Street with said improvement project; and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff review estimates 60-year life cycle cost saving shortfall of$23,500 to$46,000 to reduce <br /> the width of Waco Street with said improvement project; and <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution#21-345, adopted December 14, 2021,the City <br /> Council has approved reconstructing Waco Street to the existing pavement width as part of improvement project; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ramsey City Council Resolution #22-073, adopted March 22, 2022, the City <br /> Council approved final plans and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer and authorized advertisement <br /> for bid for said improvements; and <br /> WHEREAS,three(3)bids were received,opened,and tabulated on May 19,2022,and the following bids <br /> were found to comply with the approved plans and specifications and advertisements for bids; and <br />
