ORDINANCE #05-26 <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AMENI)MENT TO CHAPTER 5 OF THE RAMSEY CITY CODE, WHICH CHAPTER <br />1S ENTITLED "MUNICIPAL REGULATIONS: <br /> <br />AN OI/I)INANCE AMENDING SECTION 5.07 OF THE CITY CODE WHICH <br />SECTION IS ENTITLED "FIREARMS." <br /> <br />Thc City of Ramsey Ordains: <br /> <br />SI,~CTION 1. AMENDMENT <br /> <br />Subsection 5.07.07, "Discharge of Firearms" of Chapter 5 of the City Code is <br />replaced by the following text: <br /> <br />5.07.07 <br /> <br />Discharge of firearms. The owner or tenant or persons having written <br />authorization of such owner or tenant may, upon the land of the <br />owner or the owner's tenant, discharge firearms in hunting wild game <br />in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota. However, <br />discharge of firearms shall NOT be permitted within 1,500 feet of any <br />residential dwelling or other structure, park or playground. In <br />addition, shotguns using no larger than size six (6) shot and non lead <br />shall be the only type of firearm permitted to be discharged in any <br />area of the City. <br /> <br />Subsection 5.07.09 "Use of bows and arrows" of Chapter 5 of the City Code is <br />replaced by the following text: <br /> <br />5.07.09 <br /> <br />Use of bows and arrows. The use of bow and arrow for hunting <br />purposes shall be permitted in the City in hunting wild game in <br />accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota. However, bow <br />and arrow hunting shall NOT be permitted within 500 feet of any <br />residential dwelling or other structure, park or playground and said <br />hunting shall NOT be permitted within $00 feet of any trunk highway. <br /> <br />SE(iJ'I()N 2.
