<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #22-135 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE RAMSEY’S NEXT CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Administrator Ulrich resigned from the City in May, 2022; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an external recruitment process was conducted; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Brian Hagen has been selected as the top candidate for the position; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff has completed the necessary background checks and recommends that <br />Mr. Brian Hagen be hired as the City’s City Administrator, effective June 15, 2022; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Hagen will be will be subject to the terms of an employment agreement <br />as drafted by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #22-135 hiring Mr. Brian Hagen as the City of Ramsey’s new <br />City Administrator, effective June 15, 2022 as per the terms of the employment agreement <br />dated June 14, 2022. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Woestehoff, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
