Coun¢ilmember introduced the following res%lution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05~I0-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CLIMB THEATRE, INC. APPLICATION FOR A <br />PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT J-R'S OUTPOST IN RAMSEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Climb Theatre, Inc. has applied for a premise permit for gambling at Jr's <br />Outpost, 6141 Highway 10NW Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Climb Theatre, Inc. has requested Council waive the 30-day notice <br />provision; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOICh. COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City. Council hereby approves the premise permit application for Climb <br />Theatre, Inc. to operate lawful gambling at Jr's Outpost, 6141 Highway 10 NW Ramsey <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey Cio Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. <br /> <br />3') <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br />Officer to sign the application and ~y other documents required by the Minnesota <br />Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 25th day of October, 2005. <br /> <br />-120- <br /> <br /> <br />
