Councilmember introduced the following re~'elution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-10-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING ANOIC& AREA ICE ARENA FOR A PREMISE PERMIT <br />FOR LAWttUL GAMBLING AT T. JACOBS TAVERN (TANNERS) IN RANISEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Anoka Area Ice Arena has applied for a premise permit for gambling at T. <br />Jacobs Tavern (Tanners), 14077 St, Francis Blvd NW kamsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, .Amoka Area Ice Arena has requested Council waive the 30-day notice <br />provision; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board-Division of the Deparfi-'nent of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAaMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City. Council hereby approves the premise .permit application for Anoka <br />Area Ice Arena to operate lawful gambling at T. Jacobs Tavern (Tanners), 14077 St. <br />Francis Blvd NW -Ramsey <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City, Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereb7 authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br />Officer to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br />Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by C.ouncilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the folloWing were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 25th day of October, 2005. <br /> <br />-134- <br /> <br /> <br />
