(~ouncihncmber introduced th~following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-10-XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING 2~'~° PARTIAL PAYMENT TO ADOLFSON & PETERSON FO R #02-34P RAMSEY MUNICIPAL PARKING FACILITY WHEREAS, the design of this project was authorized by the City Council at their July ~'7, 2004 regular City Council meeting; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held and the project was authorized by the City Counci~ at their February 22, 2005 regular City council meeting; an'd WHEREAS, the final site plan for improvement project #02-34 have been Prepared by LSA Design and approved by the City Council at their May.10, 2005 regular City Council :neeting; and WttEREAS, the author/zation to advertisement for bids for this Project was approved on May 24, 2005, and WHEREAS, on August 10, 2004, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #04-1 authorizing plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, on July 12, 2005, the Ramsey City Council awarded the contract for ~ #02~ 34 to Adolfson & Peterson; and WHEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and r~:cr, ommends partial payment to Adolfson & Peterson in the amount of $515,616.09. WHEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recr~mmends partial payment to Adolfson & Peterson in the amount of $546,593.45. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THli; CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Adolfson & Peterson for hnpro vement Project #02- 34 in the amount of $ 546,593: 45. That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of October 25, 2005.
