Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION#22-128 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING LEASE WITH IDIGITAL OUTDOOR LLC FOR <br /> DYNAMIC DISPLAY BILLBOARD <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Ramsey EDA and City Council directed Staff to explore interest <br /> in a private owned and operated digital billboard on Hwy 10 to assist Ramsey businesses in <br /> advertising opportunities; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey sent out an RFI to iDigital Outdoor, Clear Channel <br /> Outdoor, Lamar Outdoor Advertising and Blue Ox Media(the "Vendors"; and <br /> WHEREAS, iDigital Outdoor, Clear Channel Outdoor and Lamar Outdoor Advertising <br /> completed the RFI and submitted it to the City; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Ramsey EDA reviewed the Vendors RFI submittals on April 8, 2021 and <br /> recommend to City Council to further investigate and approve the concept of a digital billboard on <br /> Highway 10 with the EDA preference for vendor as iDigital Outdoor; and <br /> WHEREAS, On May 11, 2021, the City of Ramsey City Council Adopted Resolution 21- <br /> 13 E selecting iDigital Outdoor LLC as the preferred vendor and to direct Staff to select a location <br /> for the sign, negotiate a lease and to draft a sign ordinance to add digital display billboards and <br /> bring back to the City Council for consideration; and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff has identified a viable location for the digital display billboard, <br /> negotiated a lease with terms preferred by the City Council and EDA and has drafted an Ordinance <br /> for the City Council to consider; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey EDA met on February 10, 2022 and recommends adoption of <br /> the lease as presented. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) That the City Council approve the lease with iDigital Outdoor, LLC and direct city official <br /> to execute said lease; contingent on adoption of the Ordinance adding Off-Premises Digital <br /> Billboard Signs; subject to City Attorney review. <br />
