Seasonal <br /> Maintenance <br /> Ci t 0 � Class Code: <br /> Workers 16014 <br /> .RiAMSEY I <br /> Bargaining Unit: None <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> Established Date: Feb 28, 2017 <br /> Revision Date: Feb 28, 2022 <br /> SALARY RANGE <br /> $13.00 - $15.00 Hourly <br /> PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: <br /> To provide general maintenance of streets, park grounds, trails, buildings, and related <br /> facilities and equipment through the spring, summer, and possibly fall months. This also <br /> includes mowing and trimming; pruning and planting trees or working on landscape projects; <br /> maintaining athletic fields; picking up trash; street maintenance; and utilities maintenance. <br /> These are temporary non-union positions working forty (40) hours per week, Monday- Friday <br /> from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., beginning in April or May and running through the Fall months. <br /> There is no guaranty of further employment after the season has concluded. We will begin <br /> interviewing candidates the week of March 21st. <br /> MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: <br /> Successful applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications: <br /> • Must be 17 years of age or older <br /> • Must possess a high school diploma, GED or a current student <br /> • Must have valid Minnesota driver's license in good standing <br /> • Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision <br /> • Must have the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including cold or hot <br /> temperatures, high humidity, wind, or rain <br /> • Must have the ability to finish work in a timely and efficient manner <br /> • Must have the ability to get along with others including supervisors and coworkers <br /> Desired Qualifications include: <br /> 0 Previous experience working for a municipality or county <br />
