Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #22-135 <br /> RESOLUTION TO HIRE RAMSEY'S NEXT CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br /> WHEREAS, City Administrator Ulrich resigned from the City in May, 2022; and <br /> WHEREAS, an external recruitment process was conducted; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Brian Hagen has been selected as the top candidate for the position; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff has completed the necessary background checks and recommends that <br /> Mr. Brian Hagen be hired as the City's City Administrator, effective June 15, 2022; and <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Hagen will be will be subject to the terms of an employment agreement <br /> as drafted by the City Attorney. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> 1) Motion to adopt resolution #22-135 hiring Mr. Brian Hagen as the City of Ramsey's new <br /> City Administrator, effective June 15, 2022 as per the terms of the employment agreement <br /> dated June 14, 2022. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> and the following were absent: <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br /> the 14th day of June, 2022. <br />
