This ensures all bidders are bidding off the same set of plans, and all bidders are <br /> notified of any plan revisions (addenda) issued during the bidding process. Attached is the title sheet showing the <br /> scope of the improvements, as well as a plan sheet showing the typical sections,which includes information on the <br /> proposed pavement section. Plans are available upon request from the City Engineer. <br /> Notification: <br /> If Council approves plans and specifications and authorizes advertising for bids,bids will be advertised on Friday, <br /> July 1, and again on Friday,July 8, 2022,both in the City's official newspaper,the Anoka Union Herald, and in <br /> Finance& Commerce. <br /> Additionally, letters will be mailed to property owners with updates on the project status. Engineering Staff <br /> maintains a project webpage,which will be updated as new information is made available throughout the project. <br /> Observations/Alternatives: <br /> Motion to adopt Resolution#22-150 Approving Plans and Specifications and Authorizing Advertisements for Bids <br /> for Autumn Heights Street Reconstructions, Improvement Project#22-02. <br /> Funding Source: <br /> Funding for this improvement is proposed to come from Pavement Management Funds and Stormwater Utility <br /> Funds. <br /> Staff has completed an estimate based on the final plans and anticipated 2022 construction costs,with a total <br /> estimated project costs of$1,156,647.01,which includes 23-percent indirect costs for administrative, engineering, <br /> finance, and legal costs. <br /> • Street Construction Costs $888,195.42 <br /> • Storm Sewer Costs $52,168.00 <br /> •Indirect Costs $216,283.59 <br /> •Total Estimated Project Costs $1,15 6,647.01 <br /> In comparison the total estimated cost to complete the standard reconstruction across the entire project, as opposed <br /> to a reclamation rehabilitation on the streets west of Armstrong Boulevard was $1,475,337.15. <br /> Recommendation: <br />
