We are recommending that <br />the formal adoption occur at the regular City Council meeting on Tuesday, December 12, 2000. <br /> <br />The public hearing dates must be certified to Anoka County by Friday, September 15, 2000; <br />therefore, the City Council must make a decision as to the dates selected for the 2001 public <br />hearing(s) at tonights meeting. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends Council approval of the City of Ramsey's payable 2001 proposed maximum <br />tax levy in the amount of $3,754,300, and to schedule the City of Ramsey's initial budget public <br />hearing on Monday, December 4, 2000 at 6:00 p.m. and a reconvene date (if necessary) on <br />Monday, December 11, 2000 at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Motion to recommend Council adopt Resolution #00-09-XX Approving the Proposed Maximum <br />2000, Payable 2001, Tax Levy. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br />City Administrator <br />Finance Officer <br /> <br />FC: 09/13/00 <br /> <br /> <br />
