The primary objective of this position is to provide a variety of responsible administrative support functions for the Community Development Department, specifically the Planning Division. Seeking one (1) individual to assist our Parks staff with general maintenance of City -owned parks and trail systems. This is a temporary full-time AFSCME union position lasting up to 7-months. Responsibilities include all aspects of parks maintenance, construction of new facilities and the operation of equipment while working in a variety of weather conditions. This individual also assists staff with several City events. All candidates must be at least 18 years old or older and possess a valid MN commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with both air brake and tanker endorsements. This is a temporary full-time AFSCME union position subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing, working forty (40) hours per week, Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. This position will not lead to regular employment at the conclusion of the season. The 2022 wage is $19.511 per hour.
