The primary objective of this position is to perform finance, <br />accounting and administrative activities, including, but not limited to accounts payable <br />and accounts receivable functions. This is a full-time AFSCME union position, working <br />40 hours per week. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The <br />hiring salary range is $23.262 to $25.589 per hour depending on qualifications. This <br />position closes at 11:59 pm on Monday. July 4. 2022. <br />• Building Inspector/Plans Examiner - Two (21 Openings. The primary objective of <br />these positions is to assist the Building Official in ensuring that all new and existing <br />residential and commercial/industrial development in the City complies with all <br />applicable portions of the Minnesota Building Codes and applicable City Codes. Both <br />are full-time AFSCME union positions, working 40 hours per week. The hours are <br />Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Experience is preferred but not required; <br />the full wage scale of $33.098 to $41.372/hour is the hiring range, depending on <br />experience and qualifications. These positions are open until both are filled. Apply <br />immediately if interested. <br />Streets Maintenance Worker — Two (21 Openings. The primary objective of these <br />positions is to provide general maintenance of public streets, right-of-ways, storm sewer <br />systems, parking lots and any other related municipal facilities or equipment; as well as <br />snow plowing of public streets, trails and walks. All candidates must possess a <br />commercial class A or B driver's license with air brakes and tanker endorsements. All <br />candidates must reside within approximately 30 minutes from the Public Works Facility <br />to fulfill the on -call team member requirement. The hiring salary wage is $24.981/hour. <br />These positions close at 11:59 pm on Sunday. July 10. 2022. <br />• Community Development Director. This individual is responsible for the planning and <br />implementation of development and redevelopment of residential, commercial and <br />industrial land that help shape a vibrant, sustainable community. This position reports to <br />the City Administrator, exercises signification collaboration with the Leadership Team, <br />strategic partnerships and manages the Community Development Department. The <br />hiring salary wage is $109,811 to $137,264/annually depending on qualifications. This <br />position closes at 11:59 pm on Sunday. July 24. 2022. <br />• Planning Administrative Assistant — Part-time. The primary objective of this position <br />is to provide a variety of responsible administrative support functions for the Community <br />Development Department, specifically the Planning Division. This may include, but is <br />not limited to: providing excellent customer service to residents, contractors, staff and <br />others; routing phone calls, attending city events, scheduling meetings, writing business <br />letters and documents, and counter help at the Community Development / Economic <br />Development windows. This is a part-time twenty (20) hours per week AFSCME union <br />position; with the anticipated schedule being Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. The <br />hiring salary range is $23.262 to $25.589/hour depending on qualifications. This <br />position closes at 11:59 P.M. on Sunday.
