(~ot~ci Imcmbcr Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-09-302 <br /> <br />I:~ES()I JUTION CAI,LING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br />I:OR IM I'ROVI,;MENT PROJECT #05-06 (BITUMINOUS OVERLAY BEAUDRY'S 2r'TD, <br />I'I;;I,TZEi~,, SECTION 22 (UNPLATTED) <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, by Resolution 05-09-295 the City Council on September 13th, 2005, the <br /> 'ity Achninistrator wats directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improvements to <br />13c:~tldi'y's 2®, Peltzer, Section 22 (unplatted); and <br /> <br />WIIEREAS, the City Administrator has notified the City Council that such proposed <br /> has been completed and filed in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br />NOW Tlll~;RElrORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />i{AMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />ri'hat a Public Hearing shall be held on September 27, 2005, at 7:00 p.m. at the Ramsey Fire <br />Station, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard, to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such <br />time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an <br />opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />~1 hat thc City Administrator is hereby directed to cause a notice of the public hearing on the <br />pml)oscd assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks <br />prior to thc hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He <br />s}~;tll also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the <br />asscssmcnt roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearings. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That thc owner of' any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the <br />;~sscssmcnt by thc County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment of such property, with <br />interest accrued to the date of payment to the City, except that no interest shall be charged <br />il' thc entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of the assessment. The <br />owner may at any time, thereafter, pay to the City the entire amount of the assessment <br />remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment <br />is made.
