The primary objective <br />of these positions is to assist the Building Official in ensuring that all new and <br />existing residential and commercial/industrial development in the City complies <br />with all applicable portions of the Minnesota Building Codes and applicable City <br />Codes. Both are full-time AFSCME union positions, working 40 hours per week. <br />The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Experience is <br />preferred but not required; the full wage scale of $33.098 to $41.372/hour is the <br />hiring range, depending on experience and qualifications. These positions are <br />open until both are filled. Apply immediately if interested. <br />Streets Maintenance Worker — Two (2) Openinas. The primary objective of <br />these positions is to provide general maintenance of public streets, right-of-ways, <br />storm sewer systems, parking lots and any other related municipal facilities or <br />equipment; as well as snow plowing of public streets, trails and walks. All <br />candidates must possess a commercial class A or B driver's license with air brakes <br />and tanker endorsements. All candidates must reside within approximately 30 <br />minutes from the Public Works Facility to fulfill the on -call team member <br />requirement. The hiring salary wage is $24.981/hour. These positions close at <br />11:59 pm on Sunday. July 10. 2022. <br />• Community Development Director. This individual is responsible for the planning <br />and implementation of development and redevelopment of residential, commercial <br />and industrial land that help shape a vibrant, sustainable community. This position <br />reports to the City Administrator, exercises signification collaboration with the <br />Leadership Team, strategic partnerships and manages the Community <br />Development Department. The hiring salary wage is $109,811 to <br />$137,264/annually depending on qualifications. This position closes at 11:59 pm <br />on Sunday. July 24. 2022. <br />• Plannina Administrative Assistant — Part-time. The primary objective of this <br />position is to provide a variety of responsible administrative support functions for <br />the Community Development Department, specifically the Planning Division. This <br />may include, but is not limited to: providing excellent customer service to residents, <br />contractors, staff and others; routing phone calls, attending city events, scheduling <br />meetings, writing business letters and documents, and counter help at the <br />Community Development / Economic Development windows. This is a part-time <br />twenty (20) hours per week AFSCME union position; with the anticipated schedule <br />being Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. The hiring salary range is $23.262 to <br />$25.589/hour depending on qualifications. This position closes at 11:59 P.M. on <br />Sunday.
