From: KRISTI HAIGHT
To: Ryan Heineman; Matt Woestehoff;Chelsee Howell; Debra Musgrove; Mark Kuzma; Dan Specht;Chris Riley; Brian
Walker; Brian Hagen;Todd Larson; bmccoacityoframsey.com
Cc: Ron Lindenbera
Subject: PACT Charter Development
Date: Thursday,June 23,2022 5:23:20 PM
Good afternoon,
This email is from Kristi Haight and Ron Lindenberg, property owners at 7600 163rd Lane NW,
Ramsey, MN 55303.
Last week several of the adjacent property owners had a zoom call with JB Vang concerning
the PACT Charter school project issues. From storm water management to traffic concerns,
lighting and noise pollution concerns.
We appreciate them getting together with us, but unfortunately, it's a bit late in the process!
we don't feel any of the concerns had any resolutions. With that being said, we want to
express our deep concerns over this project and what will be done to resolve these issues.
We honestly feel the location that they have chosen is not suitable for this project, especially
considering the serious consequences of inadequate storm water containment. The property
PACT has chosen is surrounded by rural residential landowners. We purchased these
properties with acreage to insure a peaceful rural residential existence. With that being said,
we cannot understand how the city is allowing this project to move forward with all these
issues still not being resolved properly. We need clarification that our surrounding properties
will be protected from damage from all of the issues listed above prior to this project moving
forward. As forementioned, our greatest concern is the extreme potential for our property to
be flooded. We are not against PACT's desire to grow, this is just not the proper location for
that to happen.
Thank you,
Kristi Haight
Ron Lindenberg
