CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at <br /> the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> Members Present: Mayor Mark Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Chelsee Howell <br /> Councilmember Debra Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Chris Riley <br /> Councilmember Dan Specht <br /> Councilmember Matt Woestehoff <br /> Members Absent: Councilmember Ryan Heineman <br /> Also Present: City Administrator Brian Hagen <br /> Parks and Assistant Public Works Superintendent Mark Riverblood <br /> Administrative Services Director Colleen Lasher <br /> City Engineer Bruce Westby <br /> City Attorney Fritz Knaak <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Kuzma called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:30 p.m. <br /> 2. TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> 2.01: Provide Direction on 2023 City-Led Project to Extend/Reconstruct Riverdale Drive <br /> East of Sunfish Lake Boulevard <br /> City Engineer Westby introduced Dan Lonnes from Bolton & Menk and Jason Orcutt from the <br /> Anoka County Transportation Division. He stated they are attending to outline the purpose for <br /> having the City lead the construction and reconstruction of Riverdale Drive East of Sunfish Lake <br /> Boulevard as a 2023 improvement project. He stated the biggest benefit is that it will help shorten <br /> the duration of the project on Highway 10. He stated Council concurrence is being sought on <br /> whether they are in favor of having the City lead this as a 2023 improvement project. <br /> Mr. Lonnes gave a presentation on the staging and why this is a critical piece. He stated they were <br /> tasked by Mr. Orcutt to put a staging plan together to get this built as fast as possible and to come <br /> up with recommendations to meet the stakeholders goals. <br /> Mayor Kuzma asked who is doing the engineering, is that already done and they could send that <br /> out for contract if the City were to handle that, or is that something the City has to take on. <br /> City Council Work Session/June 28, 2022 <br /> Page 1 of 20 <br />
